Dr. Portia Sykes, D.N. : ( por-sha syk-s)

As a member of the American Pain Society, Dr. Sykes looks to decrease pain naturally whenever possible, to improve function, to educate patients on healthier lifestyle choices, and to assist patients in maintaining or improving their quality of life.

Dr. Portia Sykes, D.N. is a nationally board certified and licensed physician who treats neuromuscular and connective tissue disorders with the use of gentle hands-on manipulative techniques, adjunctive therapies such as ultrasound, electric stimulation, hot and cold packs, nutritional supplementation and therapeutic exercises.

Dr. Sykes relocated her practice from Chicago in 2006 and continues to serve as the Four Corners only licensed Naprapath.

Naprapathic treatments and manipulations are a gentle, yet effective means of restoring and supporting the body's innate ability to heal itself by correcting imbalances in the connective tissue and neuromuscular systems.

Naprapaths do not perform any invasive treatments. This means; no surgery, no injections, and no prescription medications.
